Ghost Walk
Prince Albert local and registered tour guide Ailsa Tudhope takes you on a twilight walk through
the town as darkness descends, introducing you to Prince Albert’s rich history, fascinating
characters, and ghosts! It’s a fun pre-dinner activity for the whole family that reveals the town’s
hidden treasures and hidden histories. The walk takes about an hour and half.
Gays Guernsey Dairy
Gay van Hasselt started what is now known as Gay’s Guernsey Dairy in 1990 when she started milking three cows in a stone kraal. She soon discovered that there was a demand for fresh milk in the community and started selling to a few customers who would arrive with their empty containers and get their daily supply of milk while on their morning walks.
O for Olive
Situated just minutes from the famous Great Karoo town itself, Swartrivier Farm is home to beautiful olive orchards and the O for Olive brand, a popular café-restaurant, and a sweeping view of the Swartberg Mountains.
Nature walk
The Wolvekraal Nature Reserve is a must-see for nature-lovers. Be prepared to be astounded by the unique biodiversity, geology and history of the area in this two hour guided nature walk.

Walk the Koppie/ Koppiestap
A breathtaking and deliciously photogenic view of Prince Albert and the Karoo landscape is just
20 minutes away along the Gordon Koppie trail. Head to the top of Cromwell Street and soak in
the natural beauty of the area (no permit required).
